I have always cherished photographs. My love for taking them started young with taking and playing with my photographer mom's cameras laying around the house and carrying around a 35mm disposable camera wherever I went starting in high school. Whether traveling or with friends and family, those initial photos are what made me realize how special and life long these moments could be. They were the real time moments, spent with the people I cared about most, doing the things we that made us the most joyful.
I take being trusted with photographing your moments as the highest honor and promise to ensure your trust in me. Growing up my mom was a photographer and we always had a bunch of digital and film cameras hanging around the house. My parents were always taking photos or video of me and my 4 sisters, who also are all extremely creative, which is/was super influential. Boxes of scrapbooks, photos of us doing cartwheels into the pool, dancing in the kitchen, cheesing for birthdays. Photos are what you go back to to remember… laugh, cry, learn about what people were like, how they’ve changed, what they did & I just cherish getting to document it for you.
